After a social gathering place the corks in a tall vase and start collecting. It is a great way to place stems of silk flowers that can be interchanged with the seasons. A nice addition to any room.
This is a great idea. What a great idea for the many bottles of wine I go through on a weekly basis! This idea also reminds me of a wedding I attended a few years back, where the bride and groom used wine corks for the table invitations for the guests. It was a very cool idea and looked great! It really added a nice touch and made the wedding great, even though the groom was kind of a shady character. Keep the ideas coming Mary!
Genius! My wife and I like to save corks from bottles of wine and write on the cork if it was a special occasion. This idea gives us a decorative way to use the corks. I look forward to keeping up with this blog for future ideas!
